Rdp Tcp Properties Windows 10

My desktop computer ran Windows 7 Ultimate, and I used my laptop and Remote Desktop to connect to my computer.

After upgrading to Windows 10, my desktop computer is no longer accepting Remote Desktop connections. I've researched everything and can't explain why. Here are some details:

* Windows 10 is set to 'Allow remote connections to this computer.' I am not requiring NLA.

* My network is set to Private

Windows 7 Forums is the largest help and support community, providing friendly help and advice for Microsoft Windows 7 Computers such as Dell, HP, Acer, Asus or a custom build. I want to change the Remote Desktop port (RDP) from the default (3389) to something else. Aug 11, 2015  After upgrade, Windows 10 computer will not accept Remote Desktop connection My desktop computer ran Windows 7 Ultimate, and I used my laptop and Remote Desktop to connect to my computer. After upgrading to Windows 10, my desktop computer is no.

Hello, I updated my Windows 10 to build 1703, now I am having a problem setting up RDP. I can do it from the run mstsc.exe but I just can't find the good old way of doing this.

* Remote Desktop is allowed through Windows Firewall for Private network connections.

* I ran netstat and I can see that port 3389 is open and listening.

Windows

C:WINDOWSsystem32>netstat /p tcp /a | findstr 3389
TCP 0.0.0.0:3389 Gateway:0 LISTENING

* I've tried connecting via local IP address (192.168.0.100), the computer's name (Gateway), and via the Internet IP address, which is forwarded to my desktop computer on my router. All used to work, none are working.

* I've tried connecting from two different computers (Windows 10 and Windows 7) and via my Android phone, no connections go through.

When I try to connect via my Windows 10 laptop, I immediately receive the message, 'This computer can't connect to the remote computer.'

I would certainly appreciate some help with this. Everything worked properly (for years!) until I upgraded to Windows 10. Absolutely everything else is working great in Windows 10, except for this.

Thanks,

Windows

Hey everyone,

Rdp-tcp Properties Windows 10 Security

I was wondering if anyone happened to know how to disable the following client settings in RDP-TCP Redirection Properties:

Drive, Windows Printer, LPT Port, COM Port, Audio Playback, and Audio recording

I am trying to make the changes on a Server 2012 R2 machine. Currently in order to change the settings I go to Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc

Computer ConfigurationAdministrative TemplatesWindows ComponentsRemote Desktop ServicesRemote Desktop Session HostDevice and Resource Redirection

Does anyone know where these are in the registry or ways to find out? I've been trying to find solutions on other websites but haven't had much luck.

If you have any questions let me know!
