From Sling Media:. Slingbox M2 uses Slingplayer for Desktop for setup only, and Watch on Slingbox.com for viewing TV. The Slingbox M1 uses Slingplayer for Desktop for BOTH setup and viewing TV. You can only set up your Slingbox 350 or Slingbox 500 using IE or Firefox on Windows, or Safari or Firefox on Mac OS X.
